Studying with the University of Cumbria from Carlisle? Online sessions mean you do not have to travel far for good support. Lateral Minds Support specialises in study skills for autistic students (ASC is short for autism spectrum condition).
Online support for students in Carlisle
The University of Cumbria’s Fusehill Street campus is in Carlisle, near the city centre. Many Cumbria students live across a wide, rural area, and public transport can be limited. Carlisle Castle and Tullie House are familiar landmarks, but you do not need to come into town for support. Online sessions fit around placements and travel.
A question Carlisle students ask
I live in rural Cumbria. Is online really as good?
Online sessions are one-to-one, with the same planning, reading and writing support. Many students find it easier because there is no travel.
Ask your DSA assessor about Lateral Minds Support, or email hello@lateralminds.uk to talk it through.
