Four universities, one big city, and a lot of travel between them. Online study skills sessions keep your week simple. Lateral Minds Support specialises in study skills for autistic students (ASC is short for autism spectrum condition).
Online support for students in Birmingham
Birmingham students are spread out. The University of Birmingham is in Edgbaston under the Old Joe clock tower. Aston University and Birmingham City University are close to the centre. Newman University is out at Bartley Green. If you travel through New Street station each day, you know how much time that takes. Online sessions can fit around lectures, or replace the journey entirely.
A question Birmingham students ask
I commute into Birmingham. Can sessions fit around that?
Yes. Online sessions can be arranged for times that suit you, including evenings and gaps between lectures. The Library of Birmingham in Centenary Square is a good quiet place to log on from.
Ask your DSA assessor about Lateral Minds Support, or email hello@lateralminds.uk to talk it through.
